Purpose of Job
To handle the medico marketing responsibilities of assigned business unit/s.

Roles and Responsibilites
Strategic support
• Serve as an internal medical and scientific resource to assigned therapeutic areas
• Support in devising Product/Therapy Strategy
• Providing medical/clinical oversight regarding positioning strategy and implementation tactics for respective products
• Screening relevant literature and other information from respective scientific society meetings and conferences and develop summaries of key messages for use within the Company
• Stay abreast of new developments, publications and trends in different therapy areas and review these developments with the internal stakeholders
• Working closely with Business development to identify new molecules, novel drug delivery systems in alignment with business needs and making the future medico-marketing strategy
Customer Engagement:
o Identify, develop, maintain, and leverage professional, peer-type relationships with national KOLs and other key customers including facilitating their involvement in academic divisional initiatives
o Develop and maintain interactions with HCPs to answer scientific, product and therapy area related questions
o Effectively present information to HCPs and be able to respond to questions, ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with ethical & legal guidelines, and directives
o Support in conceptualizing, coordinating, content preparation and end to end execution of advisory board meetings
o Deliver scientific presentations and medical education to healthcare professionals individually or in groups (meeting, clinical sessions etc.) where requested.
o Conduct and coordinate various scientific initiatives like CMEs, RTMs, Scientific symposia, conference etc.
o Engagement of identified key scientific leaders through medical affairs activities, in alignment with the overall franchise plan and create a strong scientific expert data base to be involved in scientific activities
Training and development
o Training on therapy/product/new updates for therapy management and Training and development team
o Contributing to Field force team knowledge upgradation initiatives/activities on therapy/molecules through medical trainings
Qualification Required
Medical graduate/Postgraduate (MBBS/MD/MS) + Management qualification
Relevant skills / Industry experience
2-3 years of medico marketing experience with team handling
