Intas is first company in India to set up cell and gene therapy programs and develop accessible and affordable therapeutic options to address several unmet medical needs of society like blood disorders, tumours, blindness and muscular dystrophies.
Intas’ well-equipped R&D unit is currently working on seven gene therapy programs (AAV and LV based) and 4 cell therapy programs. Gene & Cell Therapy products are administered as nucleic acids, viruses or genetically-engineered microorganisms or cells to cure a genetic or oncogenic disorders. GTPs are used to modify cell directly in patients & to modify cells in vitro are then administered to patients.
