Job Description: 

Purpose of Job

We are looking for an experienced L3 System Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance complex IT infrastructure. As a senior technical expert, he will handle escalated issues, design and implement advanced solutions, and lead critical IT projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in system administration, cloud technologies, networking, and virtualization, along with strong leadership and troubleshooting skills.

Roles and Responsibilites

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of virtualized workloads.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and availability.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions.
  • Configure and monitor Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and security compliance policies.
  • Manage and maintain the Active Directory Infrastructure, Perform Active Directory Infrastructure up gradation & L3 level troubleshooting skill.
  • Manage the Windows Active Directory (AD) environment, including servers like DHCP, DNS, WSUS and other services.
  • Manage and maintain Server/San Storage/ Backup VM Ware and Citrix Infrastructure
  • Monitor server health daily and take appropriate actions as needed.
  • Monitor daily backup activities and take action in case of failures or issues.
  • Strong technical knowledge of email systems, Office 365, SFTP
  • Proficiency in administering O365, including configuring and managing user accounts, distribution lists, and email policies.
  • Manage & maintain Filer Server including shared folder creation, User permission.
  • Provide IT assistance for L3 troubleshooting to other IT support teams.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls to client data, and conduct advanced monitoring and Reporting related to Server & Network systems.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard the server infrastructure.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Monitor server performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and promptly resolve server-related issues.
  • Manage server resources, including storage, memory, and processing power.
  • Scale server infrastructure to accommodate business growth.
  • Plan for capacity and resource expansion.
  • Maintain detailed records of server configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
  • Generate regular reports on server performance and security.
  • Configure and manage Veeam Backup & Replication for critical systems.
  • Perform regular backup jobs, restoration, replication, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Monitor backup logs, resolve failures, and ensure data recovery readiness.
  • Develop and implement backup strategies to meet RTO/RPO requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills. Good attitude and willingness to learn is crucial requirement.

Skill Required

  • Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and virtualization concepts.
  • Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication setup and administration.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
  • Desired to have certifications in Azure,Vmware,Office365
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification Required

8-12 Yrs of Server and Cloud Administration Experience.

Relevant professional / Educational background

Bachelor’s degree in science, Information Technology, or Engineering in a related field.
