Purpose of Job

Research Associate (Executive)/ Trainee Executive , Department- Process Analytics, R&D

Skill Required

  • Carries out experimentation in Process analytics lab as assigned. The techniques would include but not limited to Colorimetric/Spectrophotometric assays (BCA, Bradford, OD280nm), Chromatographic test (HPLC/UPLC- SEC, IEX, RP, etc), Electrophoresis test (SDS-PAGE), Capillary Electrophoresis( cIEF, CE-SDS),N glycan analysis,Non-cell based assays (ELISA) and others.

Roles and Responsibilites

  • Executes experiments under supervision, Helps in deriving interpretation and conclusion of results on time. Plans daily work, records results and documents with minimal supervision.
  • Assists team members in executing experiments as required or assigned.
  • Follows GLP practices and assists supervisor in maintaining good lab practices.
  • Assists supervisor in planning, evaluating and implementing lab procedures and systems.
  • To follow ‘Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity’ requirements during any GxP Operation and recording at site.
  • Prepares presentations and documents related to projects and various scientific activities as delegated.
  • Performs instrument in-charge duties for the allocated instruments and be responsible for the timely calibration and maintenance of the same. Ensures resources are in stock. Assists supervisor in planning, evaluating and implementing lab procedures and systems.

Qualification Required

M.Sc / M.Tech - Biotechnology, Biochemistry,Microbiology or Equivalent qualification

Relevant skills / Industry experience

1-3 years of experience with Hands on ELN for Documentation is prefffered.
