Warehouse Supervisor

Role: Full-time, permanent contract

Location: Schimatari, Greece (free company bus provided from Athens)

Ο ρόλος

We’re seeking a meticulous and methodical Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. You’ll be also ensuring the quality of goods, while maintaining compliance with current good manufacturing practices (GMPs), environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines and any other regulations that could apply.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
• Coordinate these activities to ensure efficient use of warehouse space, resources, equipment and to continuously improve the flow of materials throughout the facility.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Inventory control including material transfers, cycle count and stock status/reorder point activities.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Process paperwork for the warehouse, including Standard Operating Procedures, Deviation Notices, and Discrepancy Statements.
• Performing daily inspections of the warehouse grounds.
• Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
• Ensure that all HSE procedures are followed, operating in compliance with GMP and company SOP’s.
• This position will interface with all site manufacturing and technical departments, as well as, QA and corporate Information Systems.
• Follows and complies to all good practices (GMP, GDP), to the Quality Management System, regulatory requirements, internal processes and procedures, company guidelines, the corporate governance code, the Health Safety and Environment (EHS) procedures and good practices and all company policies and regulations, and actively contributes to their improvement.
• Ensures and protects data integrity in every action.
• Undertakes any other project or responsibility that is assigned by the company, within the broader scope of the position’s responsibilities.

Ο Υποψήφιος

• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar administrative position.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office & Office365.
• Must have a solid conceptual & practical understanding of supply chain operations, with a focus on ERP (SAP) & WMS (EWM on SAP S/4 HANA) systems.
• Experience in a controlled storage environment
• Must have experience in writing SOPs/work instructions.
• Forklift certification is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Time management skills and ability to delegate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving skills - Strong attention to detail.
• Relevant professional/educational background
• Degree (AEI/TEI) in Business or Technical School
