The Role

We’re seeking a motivated and influential Senior Procurement Specialist for supporting the development and roll-out of procurement strategies, sourcing high quality materials & services, by achieving savings and working capital goals aligned with Accord’s corporate strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure compliance by coordinating Know Your Business Partner checks for new suppliers.
• Processing purchase requisitions generated by the managers and turning these into purchase orders.
• Proposes, initiates & executes cost saving projects.
• Sourcing RFI/RFQ or benchmarking and contract negotiations to achieve business objectives.
• Stakeholder management to ensure engagement of key people to develop requirements, objectives and supplier development.
• Supplier relationship management including managing suppliers, supporting review meetings and contract management to ensure the best service, compliance and value for money.
• Market analysis of categories and spend profiles to assess risk and opportunities for the supply chain.
• Lead / participate in cross-functional teams, departments and operational sites to ensure that all stakeholders have access to an effective and value added service.
• Support the review, execution, implementation and management contracts for the business to ensure the business is protected legally and all risks are minimized.
• Maintenance and management of Supplier Relationship management system.
• Manage reporting related to spend, contract, compliance, value tracking, cost modelling and category specifics. Establish analytics, metrics and mechanisms to monitor and measure performance and success. Ensure relevant data and analytics to build the category strategy, sourcing strategy and Supplier Segmentation Model. Lead reporting governance and financial analysis.

The Person

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
• Proficient verbal & written communication skills in English.
• Negotiation and communication skills
• Any certification – qualifications will be considered as an asset.
• Considerable amount of professional experience in Procurement (Pharma industry will be considered as a plus).
• Proficient in Excel & hands on experience in Office365 ecosystem.
• SAP knowledge
