Sales Manager

Role: Full-time, permanent

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated colleague who will be responsible for sales activities in an assigned region covering the therapeutic areas of hospital care, oncology, and rheumatology, and who will be responsible for developing a small team of Key Account Managers, as well as:

  • Build, develop and maintain good business relationships with opinion leaders and other important customers in the cardiology & diabetology area
  • Set targets, relocate costs, and adjust other activity plans in order to increase sales and strengthen the company position on the market
  • Monitor tenders for the sale and distribution of the company products
  • Plan, analyze and present sales, expenditures and sales support activities in the area
  • Develop, motivate and control KAMs (activity plans, double sales calls, expenditures, data collecting)
  • Territory management: selecting customers, target group coverage, key prescribers’ development …)
  • Prepare and manage presentation events for customers and KAMs
  • Participate in preparation and ensure right implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Co-operate in organization of congresses and conferences for the purpose of sales support and good 
  • Other tasks based on requests of Supervisor

The Person

  • Degree or equivalent suitable scientific background with substantial experience in the pharmaceutical sales industry within the hospital sector and/or rheumatology & gastrology
  • A proven and documented accomplished record of significant success and experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • An in-depth knowledge of Generic drugs as well as an understanding of the therapeutic context including the competitor landscape
  • Team leader
  • Key knowledge and experience of sales techniques
  • Clear negotiation, communication, diplomacy, influencing and organizational skills
  • Flexible, organized with high levels of planning and organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Works effectively in cross functional teams
