Intas Medical Affairs Department are responsible for educating internal and external stakeholders on scientific topics, care pathway and patient outcomes. They work in flawless cohesion to communicates accurate information to healthcare providers while managing key relationships with the industry's key thought leaders.

The team also regularly engages with internal and external stakeholders into value and science discussions, plan and generate evidence as well as collect and report insights. They ensure effective engagements, create clinical awareness and help improve health outcomes by shaping treatment paradigms.  Today, as the “face of the company” toward the medical community, the department is a crucial function devoted to disseminating scientific information and supporting key functions, such as regulatory affairs, sales, and marketing.

Regulatory Affairs:

Intas' Regulatory Affairs department plays a vital role in the organisation's progressive growth story. Our highly experienced team draws from its wide expertise, and offers insightful strategic and technical advice on legal and scientific restraints and requirements, ensuring the highest level of Quality, Safety and Efficacy of every drug. The ever-growing team works tirelessly and responsibly to keep track of the ever-changing legislation in all the regions where Intas' strategic focus lies in the present and future.

By forming a crucial link between the company, products and regulatory authorities, it ensures the protection of public health, promotion of the product, drug registration, marketing authorization, import and distribution, and pharmacovigilance.

Patent Cell:

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), especially patents, have a major influence on the research and development of generic pharmaceuticals. R&D teams at Intas are well-supported by our in-house Intellectual Property Group (Patent Cell), who have expertise in chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals (formulations) and patent laws to cater to global markets. Patent Cell is responsible for providing guidance for product development (for both Biopharmaceuticals and small molecules) and designing IP strategies against the competitor’s patents. We at Intas, believe in creating value for our products by securing our research and building a strong patent portfolio.

Currently, we hold more than 190 patents / applications. Our Patent Cell is active globally and successfully manages our patent portfolio and patent challenges in patent offices, all around the world. Worldwide litigations are managed and driven with effective litigation management practices. All the aspects of product development, starting from product selection to launch, which includes designing patent strategies, supporting business development, due-diligence of in-Licensed products, litigation management and product launch strategies, are managed efficiently by the In-House Patent Cell.
