M/s Intas Pharmaceuticals Limited, Ankleshwar Unit is Medium scale unit located at Plot No 2702/A, GIDC, Ankleshwar, Dist.: - Bharuch in Gujarat. The plant was commissioned by M/s RPG Life sciences in June 1999 for Manufacturing of Anti-cancer API through fermentation route, In July 2016, the Unit has been taken over by the Management of M/s Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd

At present, the Unit is engaged in Manufacturing of Daunorubicine, Doxorubicin and Epirubicine. These are the Anti-cancer API to treat certain types of bladder, Breast, Lung, Stomach and Ovarian Cancer. This products are Low volume – High Cost product having capacity of 50 Kg/Month and Unit is approved by WHO, KFDA and CEP. Now the Unit proposed for expansion of Daunorubicine and Doxorubicin and also planned for more regulatory Audits.
