Vice President, Head of South Europe
Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Lille, Barcelona, Utrecht or Brussels

The Role
This role is accountable for the long-term strategy, growth, operating and financial performance of the South Europe Business Hub and the associated countries
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the business of the South Europe Business Hub, which is €340Mn in Sales and €110Mn EBITDA, with approx. 300 employees
- Strategy and budget planning: develop and implement strategic plan and budget
- Performance metrics: drive success through key metrics: product portfolio, talent management, supply, launches, EBITDA and compliance
- Regional focus: primarily responsible for South Europe Business Hub with oversight of associated markets Country Directors.
- Develop successful business strategies to achieve Accord South Europe Business Hub goals and objectives
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the pharmaceutical business within South Europe Business Hub Countries
- Manage the relations with internal and external stakeholders and represent Accord South Europe Business Hub at local events or meetings
- Oversee France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, The Netherlands & Belgium businesses in supporting the Country Directors to achieve goals and objective
The Person
- Degree-level qualification in a life science or business subject and MBA degree (or equivalent) is desirable.
- Several years of professional working experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of South Europe Business Hub countries’ healthcare system
- Fluency in one or more of the South Europe Business Hub countries languages along with English
- Significant Commercial or Financial experience within a Global or Regional Pharmaceutical Company at Leadership level
- Experience of managing P&L
- Should have overseen significant markets and/or have deep knowledge of the Accord businesses included within South Europe Business Hub
- Strong networks internally with key stakeholders is a plus
- Significant experience within Retail Generics, Hospital Business and Specialty Branded products and services
