Role Details
Supply Chain Coordinator
Role: Full-time, 1 year contract with the prospect of a permanent position.
Location: Utrecht (the Netherlands)
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain France, Belgium and the Netherlands, the Supply Chain Coordinator main missions includes end-to-end supervision of the supply chain for the Dutch market, steering the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, ensuring product availability and the level of service offered to customers and patients, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements, good distribution practices (GDP) and company standards for pharmaceutical products.
Responsabilities include:
Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasts in close alignment with commercial teams.
- In collaboration with commercial team integrate market insights into the demand plan.
- Monitor, analyze and communicate forecast accuracy and bias, on and implement corrective actions where needed.
S&OP Process Management
- Ownership of local S&OP Process Management
- Prepare and follow up on S&OP meetings, ensuring timely execution of agreed actions.
- Act as the key liaison between commercial, supply chain, and production teams to align demand and supply plans.
- Keep close connection with CMO and In House supply teams and follow up and escalate when required.
- Propose some solutions in case of shortage risk (Prioritize, Accelerate, Rebalance some stock, etc.)
Inventory Management
- Proactively follow, approve and chase production schedules to meet customer demand and service level targets.
- Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues and maintain operational flow.
- Track and ensure appropriate priority for the transportation, inbound, release and issue resolution for critical products and batches
- Ensure stock availability and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess of stock.
- Communicate effectively across departments to commercial, CS, QA colleagues in case of detected issue detected
Reporting management
- Update and share stock coverage situation
- Update and share Replenishment plan
Inventory management
- Manage the stock level physical and virtual
- Maintain a close working relationship with our logistic service provider to manage flow of products through our NL warehouse with our customers.
- Alert and implement issues resolutions with Warehouse
Logistics
- Act as the principal in-country logistics point of contact for internal communications and queries
- Collaborate with EU logistics team on local logistic operations.
- Support Material Product Master data in MDM tool and SAP
- Support the invoicing control of logistic supplier
The Person
Bachelors degree in Logistic management or in business administration with a specialization in Supply Chain
Several years of experience in logistics and preferably in healthcare or industry
Experience of using ERP and/or stock system (SAP)
Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for healthcare and serialization
Fluent in English and Dutch
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Capacity to deal with ambiguity
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
