Job Title: Supply Chain Director
Role Details
The Head of Supply Chain will have the key responsibility of strategic supply of FDF, Semi-FDF and packaging materials, stock availability, continuous replenishment, launch & demand forecast and inventory management. Through the S&OP project management process improvements, he/she will drive alignment throughout the supply chain and its partners by actively engaging with customer teams, sales & marketing teams as well as external CMO's and development companies to align on expectations and, deliver tangible value for the customers. Moreover he is responsible for the regular monitoring of supply conditions from internal and external suppliers.
The Role
Daily tasks
- Ensure regular replenishment/launch forecasting for Accord products
- Strategic purchase of FDF and Semi-FDF as well as packaging materials
- Negotiation of supply and confidential agreements with internal and external CMO's and development companies
- Regular monitoring of supply conditions from internal and external suppliers
- Regular (weekly) control of safety stock levels of Accord products to identify supply issues as early as possible and coordinate actions with supplier to prevent stockout or reduce stockout time
- Manage the relationship to Accord's pre-wholesalers
- Coordination of timely replenishment and launch deliveries of Accord products to prewholesaler
- Handling of stock receipt for Accord products at pre-wholesaler (communication with supplier and prewohlesaler, documentation of receipt according to SOP)
- Regular check of expiring batches, coordinating actions for expiring batches
- Documentation of destructions (filling out and signing form) according to SOP
- Timely notification to pre-wholesaler to apply for narcotics licenses
- Checking of monthly pre-wholesaler invoices
- Checking the pre-wholesalers inventory and liaise with finance department to minimize write-off risks of stock
- Close cooperation to SC UK and India
- Lead the Supply Chain Team
- Ensuring adequate training status of the team
- Close co-operation with the Regulatory & Quality Affairs, Portfolio Management, Tender Business and Sales & Marketing departments to clarify permissible data and patent situations
- Responsibility for the entire packing material coordination of the finished products (including the preparation of purchasing specifications, ensuring the maintenance of the internal product lists)
- Set the supply chain for new products
- ownership of the demand forecast process in agreement with Sales and Marketing Department
- Visit pharma fairs e.g. CPhI
- Definition of supply chain processes
- Selection of suitable service providers
Reporting activities
- Regular (sales and stock for forecast file, inventory write off, SCM report)
- Ad hoc reports according to business requirements
Master Data:
- Enter relevant data in CRM database according to SOP (for new launch products and changes of existing products)
- Add new launch SKUs to Loxxess SKU list (“Liste Lager Transport Verpackung”)
Projects:
- Optimization of distribution channels and consideration of discount and cost structures & thus continuous auditing and validation of pre-wholesaler performance
- FMD implementation
- Implementation one out of four EU reginal HUB's / Packaging Sit
