The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Product Manager to join our team in Munich in an exciting role to take responsibility for the development and implementation of short and long-term marketing strategies for the existing product portfolio and all new product launches in defined therapeutic areas (the product portfolio includes prescription drugs in the form of generics and biosimilars). You’ll develop and implement effective plans to maximize revenue, market share and profitability goals. In addition to that. you’ll undertake comprehensive market research to develop long and short-term objectives and internal and external communication (including personal, non-personal/digital, and/or peer-to-peer promotion). Working closely with our creative agencies, you’ll produce relevant marketing materials and rollout engaging and compliant marketing campaigns.

The Person

• Considerable amount of experience in a similar marketing role in the pharmaceutical industry (Experience with generics and/or biosimilars would be a plus)
• Skills with IH Galaxy or IMS and MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: able to liaise with all levels of authority, navigate cultural differences and foster collaborative working across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to self-motivate
• Analytical mind-set balanced with a creative outlook
• Proactive self-starter – arrives with solutions, keen to maximise opportunities and motivated to expand your knowledge to deliver results.
• Fluency in German language and a good level of English
• A degree-level qualification in a science subject – the ability to quickly understand scientific information is important for this role – or business education with equivalent experience
