Senior Controller

Role: Full-time, permanent

Location: Office Based, Munich

Die Rolle

We’re seeking an ambitious and detail oriented Senior Controller to join our German finance team in Munich and support transformation and growth within our German distribution subsidiary through business partnering, reporting transparency and process optimisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Daily, hands-on interaction with operations to solve commercial, supply and profitability issues
• Accountable for the monthly reporting package, forecasting, budget and business cases
• Perform analysis with a focus on distribution margin, opex, including non- financial KPIs
• Support local management and collaborate with corporate functions to provide articulate solutions
• Drive mapping and improvement of data in cooperation with accounting
• Participation in IT, finance and cross-functional projects to improve efficiency and compliance
• Act as a key contact for auditors on sales, gross to net, provisions and inventory

Die Person

• Completed studies with a focus on finance
• Significant previous post qualifications experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Accurate, independent and self-reliant
• Good communications and presentation skills
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• Internal networker and team player
• Strategic minded, challenges status quo and drives improvements
• Strong IT literacy
• Fluent in English and German
