Scientific Affairs Officer, Nordics

Role: Full-time, permanent

Location: Sweden (Stockholm)/Finland (Helsinki)

The Role

We’re seeking a driven and organised Scientific Affairs officer to take responsibility for the daily local regulatory affairs workflow for pre-defined portfolio and support the medical information and pharmacovigilance management in the Scandinavian region.

As part of your job you’ll maintain product information including new MA translations and variation updates along with proof reading and implementing artwork. You’ll also be managing local databases (FASS, DKMAnet etc) and liaising with regulatory authorities as necessary. You will prepare educational materials and deal with the associated coordination of external stakeholders. Using your excellent organisation and communication skills, you’ll coordinate with internal functions such as logistics, sales, new product launches and marketing related to regulatory affairs.

The Person

  • A degree-level qualification in a pharmacy or related subject
  • Experience in Regulatory Affairs with relevant knowledge of legislation and guidelines on EU and national levels
  • Good level of written and spoken English and at least one Nordic language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: able to liaise with all levels of authority, navigate cultural differences and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
  • Proactive self-starter – arrives with solutions, keen to maximise opportunities and motivated to expand your knowledge and ask questions
  • Able to manage simultaneous priorities under changing deadlines
