Product Manager – Oncology

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Lille, France

3 days in the office – 2 days working from home possible

The Role

For our Accord Healthcare France division, within our Marketing team, and as part of the development of our portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager. Your main challenges will be to develop and implement the product strategy within your remit, to lead the launch of a new immunotherapy in Thoracic Oncology, and to oversee all marketing activities related to this product.

 

Key responsibilities:

Launch leadership & product strategy

  • Define the launch strategy for France and oversee the marketing plan during the launch phase (positioning, segmentation, targeting and omnichannel strategy).
  • Translate the global strategy into high-impact local activation plans.

Market analysis & insights

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the therapeutic landscape, patient journeys and the needs of healthcare professionals.
  • Oversee competitive intelligence, performance analyses and field insights to inform key launch decisions.
  • Identify drivers of adoption and potential barriers to launch.

Omnichannel execution & field activation

  • Design and roll out integrated omnichannel campaigns to support the launch: sales force tools, scientific initiatives, educational programmes, conference presence.
  • Manage agencies and partners to ensure consistent execution.
  • Develop innovative engagement tools to accelerate product adoption.

Performance Management

  • Define and monitor launch KPIs, sales and market share.
  • Assess the impact of marketing initiatives and optimise ROI.
  • Contribute to business reviews and strategic decisions.
  • Manage the launch budget and ensure the optimal allocation of resources.

Scientific engagement & conferences

  • Boost the product’s visibility at national conferences and key events.
  • Develop initiatives to foster long-term engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with the Medical, Regulatory and Sales teams to ensure a smooth and compliant launch.
  • Support the sales force with messages, tools and training tailored to each phase of the launch.

The Person

  • Higher education in a scientific, pharmaceutical or marketing field, or from a business school
  • Substantial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in marketing or sales roles
  • Knowledge of oncology, and more specifically thoracic oncology, would be a real asset.
  • Skills in product marketing and product launches within complex pharmaceutical or medical environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP and Veeva (a plus)
  • Digital skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail / thoroughness / good listening skills
  • Team spirit and the ability to work across departments with various partners
  • Results- and solutions-oriented, with enthusiasm for achieving objectives
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of the promotional information charter and the LEA
