We are looking for a motivated and curious (Junior) Portfolio Specialist to join our Portfolio & NPL team in Munich. The Role
As a (Junior) Portfolio Specialist, you will support portfolio lifecycle management activities across assigned countries and work closely with colleagues from Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and other business functions.
You will gain broad insight into how pharmaceutical products are managed throughout their lifecycle, from portfolio optimization and strategic planning to new product launches. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop valuable industry knowledge while contributing to projects that directly impact business performance and patient access to medicines.
The Person
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous internship, working student experience, or initial exposure to pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, FMCG, or other regulated industries is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in working with data and business insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- A proactive mindset, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning.
- Fluent English skills; German is an advantage.

What You'll Be Doing
- Support portfolio lifecycle management activities across assigned countries.
- Maintain and update portfolio databases, reports, and tracking tools.
- Assist in maintaining Marketing Authorization records and product status information.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret market, sales, and portfolio data to support business decisions.
- Contribute to portfolio reviews and business case development.
- Support new product launch activities and cross-functional project coordination.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and portfolio updates for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and business optimization projects.
What we offer?
The planned annual gross base salary for this position is within a range starting at EUR 55.050,- The specific salary level will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and placement within our internal, objective, and gender‑neutral compensation system.
