Key Account Manager – Pharmaceuticals Hx
Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Munich, Germany
Die Rolle
We’re looking for a Hospital Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our dynamic Hospital Team at Accord. In this exciting role, your focus will be on commercializing our growing portfolio of Sterile Injectable Generics, Biosimilars and patent protected molecules.
You'll be responsible for all Hospital Accounts and your responsibilities will include:
- Development and maintenance of long-term customer relationships with hospital buying groups and hospital pharmacies
- Preparation of product- and portfolio proposals for hospital buying groups and -pharmacists, in close collaboration with relevant internal partners
- Lead negotiator for your assigned accounts
- Face2Face visits of hospitals to ensure pull-through of contractual agreements and to acquire incremental business
- On-going Market analysis to support business and customer planning
- Responsibility for achieving sales targets in the assigned accounts
- Responsibility for adequate documentation of all relevant information, e.g. pricing, rebates, contractual agreements
- Main contact person for assigned accounts
- Implement short- and medium-term business strategy in line with account plans to maximize national sales
- Representation of the company at trade fairs, company events and regional events
Die Person
- Certified pharmaceutical sales representative or pharmaceutical consultant (according to §75 AMG)
- Considerable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly in Hospital market
- In-depth knowledge of the German Hospital market
- Proven track record of successful Hospital Gx or BSM Launches
- Relevant skills in territory analysis and targeting, as well as management and analytical tools
- “Super-User Skills” in Microsoft Excel, proficient in new Microsoft 365 environment
- Thorough understanding of all relevant legal frameworks
- Project management comes natural to you
- Very good analytical/conceptual skills, structured and systematic working style
- Strategic thinking, innovative spirit, good organizational and time management skills and flexibility
- You are an experience negotiator
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, including confidence in front of large groups and with high-level external stakeholders
- High level of self-motivation, ability to work under pressure and focus on results
- Strong customer focus
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in business or science, Master`s degree considered a plus
