Compensation: Base salary + bonus
The Role
We’re seeking an ambitious and customer focused Key Account Manager to join our friendly team in our Munich Office and develop our business by promoting our product portfolio to hospitals and clinical purchasing groups in southern Germany.
As part of your job:
- You will be in charge of driving sales and achieving your sales targets in your assigned territory and with your assigned customers.
- You’ll promote our portfolio to selected customers in hospital pharmacies and to specialized wholesalers, in order to enhance knowledge in the respective community and maintain / build long-term relationships in the respective community
- You will provide competent and qualified support to (mainly hospital) pharmacies and selected stakeholders in your area
- You are in charge of handling tender requests, preparing product and portfolio proposals for hospital buying groups and -pharmacists, in close collaboration with relevant internal partners, and lead negotiations for agreements with your assigned accounts
- You will represent our company and our portfolio at congresses
- You will be assigned to special projects associated with the hospital products in coordination with the hospital commercial manager
Your responsibilities will include occasional customer visits in the South of Germany (max. 15%)
The Person

- You are outgoing, enthusiastic, communicative, determined and team oriented. In addition, you work in a customer- and service-oriented manner and are characterized by a high degree of commitment and acquisition strength.
- You have profound experience in, preferably in-depth knowledge of the German Hospital market. Experience in key indications like oncology, hematology, pulmonology or infectious diseases is a plus.
- You have very good analytical/conceptual skills, going along with a structured and systematic working style
- Advanced IT skills - especially excellent knowledge in MS Excel - are a must have.
- You feel confident in using all means of communication - digital and analog customer interaction channels come natural to you.
- You completed and passed the state pharmaceutical sales representative examination or successfully completed your studies in medicine or pharmacy (qualification according to §72 AMG).
