Die Rolle

The Medical Lead Germany is responsible for implementation of the Regional Medical Affairs Plan for selected products for Germany The postholder will line manage the Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) team in DE. The Medical Lead is predominantly an externally focused role building strong relationships with Tier 1 key opinion leaders and ensures a high level of scientific excellence across the Cluster.

Your key responsibilities:

 KOL Engagement and Medical Leadership

-Establish and maintain strong and resilient relationships with leading external experts, currently focused on Urology and Oncology

-Develop and execute a Medical Plan focusing on proactive generation and external engagement (e.g. advisory boards, symposia, scientific collaborations, studies, publications, etc.)

Medical Plan Implementation & Execution

-Define and implement the cluster medical strategy in alignment with global objectives

-Ensure scientific consistency and compliance of all medical activities, maintain up-to-date knowledge of scientific, clinical, and regulatory developments in oncology

MSL Team Leadership and Coordination

-Directly manage German MSL team, and help coordinate MSL activities in Austria, in collaboration with the Country Head

-Set objectives, monitor performance, and support the recruitment, medical excellence, strategic alignment of the cluster field medical team

Cross-Functional and Scientific Support

-Ensure close cross-functional collaboration with Market Access, Regulatory, Marketing, and regional Medical Affairs teams

-Provide scientific support throughout the product lifecycle, including during pre- and post-launch activities

-Review and approve medical and promotional materials in compliance with local regulations.

Die Person

• University Degree in Medicine, Natural Sciences or Pharmacology MD or PhD is preferred-expertise in oncology is highly desirable
• Demonstrable experience as a successful Medical Affairs Director including leadership experience is essential for this role. Previous experience as international contact and coordinator  is advantageous
• Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• Fluent in German and English- written and spoken
• Strategic & Proactive mindset with a hands-on approach
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
