Logistic Specialist

Role: Permanent, Full time

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage inventory control, coordinate production and deliveries with Plants, ensure efficient supply chain operations and product availability in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. Contribute to forecasting activities, particularly for HX products:

  • Support forecast activities by collecting and preparing monthly forecasts, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions in collaboration with the Line Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Line Manager and team to analyze inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock utilization and accurate inventory data.
  • Manage Item Master Data and support all product launch activities.
  • Coordinate with production plants to ensure timely and adequate inventory replenishment.
  • Work closely with the Finance department to ensure alignment between physical and system-reported stock levels.
  • Perform daily stock level checks and ensure consistency between SAP records and physical stock; support in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare documentation for warehouse inbound processes and manage SAP transactions related to purchase orders and goods receipts (EU CMOs, direct shipments, and local suppliers).
  • Maintain effective communication with international supply partners (India, UK, EU) to ensure consistent product availability.
  • Generate weekly and monthly stock level reports.
  • Oversee the stock management of pharmaceutical Bollini (identification labels) and related shipments.
  • Provide support for product destruction and disposal processes.
  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for shipments of samples to commercial agents.
  • Maintain SOP updated
  • Participate in Supply Chain projects (i.e. development of new systems and new reports).

 

The Person

 

  • University degree desirable (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or related fields).
  • English at intermediate level, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel).
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience in a Logistics department, with direct involvement in inventory management, handling of pharmaceutical stickers (Bollini), and related operational tasks.
  • Preferably experienced within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Solid understanding of commonly used supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience in collaborating with Customer Service teams within a supply chain/logistics environment an advanatge
