Key Account Manager Rheumatology

Role: Full-time, permanent

Location: Cluj-Napoca

Salary: Competitive + bonus + car + benefits

The Role

 

The role has primary responsibility for sales and promoting activities on defined territory within the portfolio of Accord products of a particular Rheumatology therapeutic line; realization of set sales and marketing targets.

  • Accountable for establishing cooperation with KOLs in assigned therapy areas and territory
  • Establish a scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals, scientific societies; responsible for managing relationships with key customers to build lasting partnerships
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administrative staff
  • Attending and organizing conferences and meetings
  • Accountable for launch of new SKUs / molecules according to Accord Romania strategy
  • Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
  • Managing relevant medical and commercial information of Accord products

The Person

•            Experienced in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry

•            Higher education (Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology will be an asset)

•            A proven track record of successful promotion of medicine products and achievement of targets set

•            An in-depth knowledge of generic drugs as well as an understanding of the therapeutic context including the competitor landscape

•            An understanding of the national and regional health environment including its structure, policy, key members

•            An understanding of the process of drug development and production

•            Key knowledge and experience in the field of sales techniques

•            Analytical approach and negotiation skills

•            Communicativeness, diplomacy, influencing and organizational skills

•            Continuously expanding product and marketing knowledge

•            Willingness to take initiative, result oriented

•            Anticipates future industry trends and opportunities, proactively develops plans to address these and communicates them to senior management

•            Strong customer orientation

•            Experienced user of MS Office, Excel in particular
