Key Account Executive – Pharmaceuticals
Role: 12-month FTC
Location: North Leinster Based, Ireland
The Role
We’re seeking an ambitious and customer focused Key Account Executive to join our Commercial Team in Cork and develop our business by promoting our Retail products.
Your main goal will be to achieve your sales objectives across your designated range of key accounts and prospects for new business while developing business plans in your territory. Whilst working closely cross functional teams, you’ll establish effective relationships with a broad range of contacts across the allocated accounts to ensure opportunities identified and solutions implemented.
As part of your role, you’ll analyse and provide effective market feedback on competitors and provide a regularly updated competitor and partner pricelist to the commercial team.
In addition to that, you’ll employ effective monthly and other schemes ensuring maximum impact utilising marketing tools and implement pricing strategies.
The role is field based with Monthly meetings in our Head Office in Little Island, Cork.
The Person
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector in a similar role
- Good knowledge of the local pharmaceutical/generics landscape.
- Highly tuned negotiation skills
- Highly credible with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills – able to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
- Strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
- Educated to degree level
- Able to travel in the territory
