Key Account Manager – Pharmaceuticals Hx
Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Munich, Germany
The Role
We’re seeking an ambitious and customer focused Key Account Manager to join our Sales Team in Munich and develop our business by promoting our hospital products.
Respecting the local laws, you’ll develop durable relationship with all influential customers that could have an impact on the local and regional health care system and potentially on the company business objectives. Overseeing Germany, you’ll contribute to the achievements of business objectives by defining and implementing an access strategy. You’ll build and maintain long term relationships and engage with specialists in order to make sure the best environment is built for a proper and fast access of the patient to the health care system. On a daily basis you’ll maintain and update our customer database, continuously develop your knowledge on disease areas, products and competitors and conduct regular market analysis in order to predict and anticipate any potential changes and assess their impact. In addition, you’ll collaborate with different company functions to optimize and continuously improve the results of market penetration.
The flexibility for regular travel through the territory is essential for this role.
The Person
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector. A familiarity across a range of treatment areas.
- Excellent knowledge of the German pharmaceutical/generics landscape, with focus on hospitals
- Strong analytical skills – able to analyse and make sense of data
- Strong relationship management skills, with the gravitas to influence and maintain relationships at all levels and build effective internal and external networks with key stakeholders and influencers (e.g. KOLs, Hospital sector).
- Excellent organisational skills – able to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
- Intermediate English and fluent German for both written and verbal communication essential
- Educated to degree level in a scientific subject
- Able to travel in the territory
