Salary: circa £30k (including shift allowance) + benefits

Shifts available: Double Day shift

Working Hours:

Double Day Shift: Week 1: Mon – Thu: 06:00 – 14:00, Fri: 06:00 – 12:00
Double Day Shift: Week 2: Mon – Thu: 14:00 – 22:00, Fri: 12:00 – 18:00

The Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Industrial Cleaner to join our friendly team, to ensure that all equipment and the Production work areas are scrupulously clean and safe. Be responsible for stripping down mobile equipment and reassemble after cleaning and checking condition. You’ll ensure any issues are communicated to a supervisor / team leader and that you give regular updates to keep them informed as to the progress and solution of any issues raised. Maintain an adequate stock of all cleaning items ensuring those used are included as acceptable materials on the relevant Standard Operating Procedure.

Also be required to help with cleaning and the monthly intensive clean downs outside of the Production areas. You’ll work in a safe manner and observe all company safety rules and requirements including the proper use of personal protective clothing and equipment which will be provided.

The Person

• Experience of cleaning in an industrial ‘clean room’ setting, would be an advantage.
• Good level of general fitness to undertake manual handling.
• Experience of cleaning machinery would be advantageous.
• Experience of working on own initiative as well as part of a team.
