Salary: circa £31.5k (including shift allowance) + benefits

Shifts available: Double Day shift

Working Hours:

Double Day Shift: Week 1: Mon – Thu: 06:00 – 14:00, Fri: 06:00 – 12:00
Double Day Shift: Week 2: Mon – Thu: 14:00 – 22:00, Fri: 12:00 – 18:00

The Role

Supporting Safe, High-Quality Manufacturing

This is more than a cleaning role — it’s an opportunity to play an important part in keeping our manufacturing operation running safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

As an Industrial Cleaner, you will help maintain the cleanliness of production equipment and work areas, supporting the manufacture of high-quality medicines used by patients around the world.

Working as part of our Operations team, you’ll carry out hands-on cleaning and housekeeping activities across the facility, ensuring equipment and environments are maintained to required standards.

You will:

• Clean and maintain production equipment and manufacturing areas to required standards
• Strip down, clean, inspect, and reassemble mobile equipment
• Carry out scheduled and periodic deep cleaning activities, including non-production areas
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure all work is completed in line with GMP, Quality, and EHS standards
• Identify and report any defects, damage, or maintenance needs
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and ensure approved materials are used
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and keep supervisors informed of progress or issues
• Follow safe working practices at all times, including correct use of PPE

This is a practical, physically active role where attention to detail and pride in your work are key to maintaining a safe and effective manufacturing environment.

The Person

We’re looking for reliable, hands-on individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working in a structured environment.

You will bring:

• A strong work ethic and positive, team-focused attitude
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Physical fitness to carry out manual handling and cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing cleaning
• Experience cleaning equipment or machinery
• Understanding of working in a regulated or safety-focused environment

Full training will be provided.
