HR Advisor

Role: Full- time, Permanent

Location: Bukarest, Romania

The Role

 

A member of the Hub  based People Team that supports all colleagues based in the Hub. To act as a Hub point of contact for HR enquiries as they arise. Be a trusted advisor to managers and employees, supporting the HR Director (HRD) to drive the EMENA people strategy that underpins the business’ objectives and enables organizational growth. Responsible for supporting workforce planning, talent management, organizational design, leadership development, employee relations and communications, training and development, and change management for the Hub. Enabling the EMENA talent attraction and retention strategy by supporting, coaching and advising managers through recruitment, management and engagement of their teams. Use data and key metrics to provide the Hub  People team with information to drive decision making and change across business areas and the site.

Specific Job Responsibilities

Payroll

Ongoing cooperation with a payroll service provider

Correspondence with designated payroll provider contact and fiscal authorities to provide routine information where necessary

Support in annual salary review

Recruitment & Onboarding

Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, cultural fit, and desired candidate profiles.
Proactively identify, source, and attract high-quality, qualified candidates from various channels such as local agencies, Colleges, Universities or schools.
Conduct initial sifting, interviews and skill assessments to create a shortlist of suitable candidates for the hiring Manager
Manage candidate expectations and communications throughout the entire hiring process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including scheduling, administrative duties, and managing offer stages ensuring a positive employee experience from the beginning of the process through year one.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition and cultural assimilation.

Performance, Talent Management & Succession

Support managers with goal setting, performance appraisals, assessment and development discussions to enhance employee performance, supporting managers to implement performance interventions where necessary.

Documentation
Maintain accurate and timely employee records and documents in HR Connect, enabling accessibility of data to HR colleagues.
Daily management of employee lifecycle processes.

Employee Relations

Work with employee relations experts and act as the main point of contact for dealing with employee grievances, ensuring policy and legal timelines are followed.
Follow employee relations experts’ guidance and approach when employee issues arise.
Ensure the safeguarding of the company’s interest in dealing with all employee relations cases.
Ensure adherence with all relevant statutory and organisational policies and processes including HR governance, raising any issues in a timely manner.

HR Information & Technology

Establish process of tracking and maintaining people information in all of our systems.
Ensure 100% utilisation of Success Factors/HR Connect across the Hub or site, using this as the single source of data for all people data requirements.
Use Data Analytics to inform decisions and support managers.

Project Management

Participate in HR projects, as guided by HR leadership across the EMENA region.
Suggest ideas for new projects that will benefit the HR function and enable it to fulfil the people strategy, using your skills and abilities to find ways of operating more efficiently.

 

The Person

Proven experience in payroll administration and payroll coordination, including ongoing cooperation with external payroll providers and supporting monthly payroll processes.
Strong understanding of payroll-related legislation, employment regulations, tax, and social security requirements.
Experience liaising with payroll vendors, fiscal authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Previous HR Generalist or HR Advisor experience supporting the full employee lifecycle.
Experience managing HR administration, employee records, contracts, and HR systems while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
Recruitment and onboarding experience, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating offers, and supporting new hire integration.
Experience handling employee relations matters and supporting managers with policy application and people-related issues.
Experience working with HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors, HR Connect, or similar systems will be additional asset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
