Director, New Product Launch (NPL) EMENA

The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director, NPL to lead the EMENA New Product Launch function to deliver timely, profitable, and strategically aligned launches of the generic and biosimilar pipeline across EMENA affiliates and distribution markets. Someone to drive effective launch planning, proactive problem-solving, and flawless execution to maximise commercial impact and ensure operational excellence.
- Define and execute EMENA launch strategy aligned with regional business objectives.
- Provide input into pricing and tender strategies to optimise market access and profitability.
- Make allocation decisions, balancing commercial priorities and supply constraints.
- Oversee end-to-end launch process for 500–1000 SKUs annually, including in-house and in-licensed products.
- Manage lifecycle from regulatory submission handover to market availability and replenishment.
- Implement robust governance for launch readiness and allocation decisions.
- Develop contingency plans for supply or regulatory delays.
- Establish KPIs for launch timelines, cost efficiency and margin impact.
- Drive process optimisation to accelerate speed-to-market and improve profitability.
The Person
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical product launches.
- Expertise in EMENA market dynamics, regulatory pathways and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience managing high SKU complexity and multi-country operations.
- Familiarity with in-licensing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Substantial and proven experience in pharmaceutical operations or commercial roles, with a significant amount of time in leadership positions.
- Track record of delivering successful product launches in a regional or global capacity.
