Role: Full-time, permanent

Location: Stockley Park, West London

The Role

Reporting to the Associate Director, SFE & Commercial Excellence, EMENA you will be accountable for supporting our reporting, monitoring and development activities related to Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) and Commercial Excellence activities to achieve key business objectives.

You will support all our EMENA sales forces by working on key commercial processes and data-driven decision making. This position offers the opportunity to engage with stakeholders, improve processes proactively and contribute to the success of our sales organization through data analyses, regular deliverables, dashboards and task automation.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Supporting EMENA sales teams’ business decisions with analytics, metrics and reports
  • Collaborating with local experts on data quality challenges and local data management
  • Mastering regular KPI deliverables and taking over the ownership of our promotional activity dashboards
  • Assisting our countries in creating and monitoring sales KPIs – both quantitative and qualitative – in close cooperation with local sales managers and other relevant stakeholders
  • Reviewing incentive plans to assist managers in automating bonus calculations for all members of local sales teams to enhance efficiency
  • Getting to understand CRM and related data structures for our sales supporting systems in order to standardize our ways of working across the region
  • Taking responsibility for planning, controlling and monitoring projects related to customer databases, with special focus on IQVIA OneKey database
  • Building and maintaining models to measure and forecast key metrics for sales
  • Reviewing / updating SFE part of regular presentations such as product performance trackers and brand-specific workshops
  • Ensuring consistency, reliability and quality of all standard reporting deliverables

 

 

The Person

 

  • Degree educated, preferably in Economics or Business
  • Analytical experience in SFE, Sales Support / Operations or Consulting is preferred
  • Demonstrated business understanding and openness to internal and external customer needs is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of market data analysis models and tools (with special focus on PowerBI and Excel)
  • Understanding of CRM systems (e.g. Veeva), pharmaceutical market and its governing mechanisms is a plus
  • Experience in pharma / medical industry, sales-related business insights department or consulting will be an advantage
  • Analytical thinking, experience with data visualization, creating dashboards, working with multiple datasets, ability to interpret data and present findings and recommendations
  • Fluency in English and very good knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills – English is a must, any other EU5 language is a plus (preferably German)
