Associate Director, Quality Assurance Nordic & Baltics

Role:  12-month FTC, Full time with start August 1, 2025

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and meticulous Associate Director Quality Assurance Nordic & Baltics to join our small QA Team in Stockholm, and hit the ground running acting as our local Responsible Person in Sweden. In this important role, you’ll be responsible for the local Quality System and quality related activities in Scandinavia, and have overall oversight of the quality assurance in the Nordic & Baltics.

As a responsible Person you’ll have full responsibility for upholding our local drug licences (24-hour preparedness), and ensuring full compliance with GDP guidelines. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that initial and continuous training programmes are implemented and maintained for relevant personnel, including annual GDP training for all employees. You’ll write, maintain and update the local Quality System and Quality Technical Agreements whilst participating in all aspects of local Quality work (change controls, risk management, CAPAs, trainings, recalls, etc.)

In addition to that, you’ll be part of the NB8 Management team, lead and develop our small NB8 QA team, including daily workload meetings with our QA Assistant NB8 based in our Headquarter Ahmedabad, and QA Officer Finland & Baltics based in Helsingfors.

The Person

  • Considerable amount of experience in a Quality Assurance and role in the Scandinavian Pharmaceutical market and responsible person experience
  • Excellent knowledge of local GDP and GMP legislation in addition to guidelines on EU and national level in Scandinavia.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (any other Nordic language would be a plus)
  • Higher education in Pharmacy or similar
  • Energetic and pro-active
  • Thorough, structured and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure

  • To manage simultaneous priorities under changing deadlines
  • Have a positive, service-minded approach and flexible mind-set.
