Role Details

Artwork Lead

Role: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Fawdon, Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: Competitive + bonus + benefits

The Role

The role is to ensure that all artwork requirements are managed to meet external and internal standards to ensure compliance and support the business needs.

The Successful Candidate will:

•Manage safety update changes

•Manage printer proofs and the movement of proofs through approval process

•Manage artwork process with packaging suppliers to meet internal and external demand, coordinating and checking all suppliers print proofs within specific timelines

•Raise and manage change controls to ensure artwork changes are controlled

•Supporting the introduction of new products by ensuring artwork availability in a timely manner

•Contact point for internal customers (QA, Product Introduction team) with artwork requests/queries

•Coordinate video and telephone conferences with regulatory and artwork teams to work on the submission information tracking of changes.

•Key stakeholder in the New Product Introduction tracker

•Propose formats (foils, leaflet and carton) for New Product Introductions

•To oversee the process of making items obsolete in SAP

•Investigating and resolving quality issues

•Support the Planning team to minimise costs of new artwork introductions

•Ensures accuracy of BOM and SSPR through thorough technical review processes

The Person

•Knowledge of the artwork requirements within the Pharma industry

•Able to work to deadlines and manage their own time to achieve success

•Able to work within a dynamic environment

•Target orientated

•Willingness to learn and develop

•Proven record of diligence and accuracy

•Computer literacy

•Ability to be self-motivated and to work as part of a team

•Good communication skills- excellent written and spoken English
