De functie
We’re seeking a strategic and inspiring Associate Vice President (AVP) to lead the Commercial and Marketing operations for our Oncology, Haematology and Autoimmune Franchises across EMENA, along with driving our Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) strategy for the region – all in compliance with industry and company regulatory requirements.
From a Franchise perspective, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of our 3 therapeutic areas and product pipelines to develop effective and innovative strategies and ensure Accord becomes a leading player in each area over the next 5 years. Taking ownership of the Franchises, you’ll regularly review our product portfolios, identifying any additional promoted / added value brands and biosimilar products to optimise Commercial success. You’ll also take responsibility for individual projects within the Franchises (from IP and medical strategies to indication target or added value feature opportunities), right through to full product launches. To ensure success, you’ll drive cross-functional and external meetings (e.g. KOL meetings, Patient Advocacy, Franchise updates, Market Intelligence, PR & Comms) and build capabilities internally to scale and sustain growth through front- and back-office functions across all countries.
Leading our SFE function, you’ll develop and implement effective strategies to enable increased sales and customer satisfaction rates to maintain our competitive market advantage and support our Commercial objectives. To support this, you’ll create a roadmap to drive ‘best in class’ Sales Force skills (focussing on current and future business needs) and identify any development needs to design effective training programmes around. To support smooth working across the departments, you’ll identify and implement improvements in our CRM technology solutions, Sales Force Automation and Analytics reporting, working closely with related departments accordingly. To ensure clear monitoring of progress, you’ll design and implement effective processes to capture and communicate key performance metrics across our SFE activities, including associated reward and recognition results.
De kandidaat
- Significant experience in a previous senior Commercial leadership role within an international pharmaceuticals company, with comprehensive Sales and Marketing experience within Retail Generics, Hospital Business and Speciality Branded products and services.
- Experience of developing effective strategic business plans (short-, medium- and long-term) and leading cross-functional working with HR, Finance, Quality, Scientific Affairs, Supply Chain and Portfolio teams.
- Strong Commercial acumen, with a comprehensive understanding of Finance operations.
- Good project management skills, able to manage multiple workstreams to deadline whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail, all within a busy and changeable work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, confident liaising with all levels of authority, navigating cultural differences and utilising negotiation, influencing and persuasion techniques to gain desired outcomes, as appropriate.
- Strong team management experience, able to lead, motivate and develop individuals, on-site and remotely.
- Degree-level qualification in a business or life science related subject is desirable.
